Sorry I didn't make it to the BBQ in NM. I rode out to the coast of Washington state and on the way back to NM the U-joint went out on me just as I left Idaho and went into Utah. Got to a little town called Snowville and a man named Dave hauled the bike to Tremonton so I could pick up a U-Haul to get back to Alabama. Couldn't find a u-joint anywhere and would have been hard to fix it on the side of the road anyway. After I got home it took me about 4 hours to fix it. Not really a big deal to fix but I took a few short cuts. I'll try again next year.
