Who's steering this boat? Careful! The last person to ask that question was handed the wheel!

Who's steering this boat? That would be Disco but there is a facade that it is me. How about Liberty Burgers http://givemelibertyburger.com/main/5211 Forest Lane at Inwood I was gonna suggest RG in Denton but I can't make it up there on Thursday

Works for me - I'll be there.
Thanks for serving as president this last year, Chuck. I don't recall anyone else raising their hand at the election meeting last year so thanks for taking it on.

Love & War also is likely to have space for us and there's a great variety of food.

If we are doing elections or even just nominations, it would probably be best if there was a meeting room or at least someplace that didn't have alot of ambient noise.

Careful! The last person to ask that question was handed the wheel! Tom drives a car, rides a motorcycle, and has/had his pilot's license. I believe he would make an excellent captain! Thanks for serving as president this last year, Chuck. I don't recall anyone else raising their hand at the election meeting last year so thanks for taking it on. +1 That would be Disco but there is a facade that it is me. I'm flattered that anyone would even suggest I wield such influence, but my stint at the helm with godfire ended two years ago. it would probably be best if there was a meeting room or at least someplace that didn't have alot of ambient noise. Someplace central works for me, too, but I'll be wherever is chosen. Thag does make a good point, though.

Chuck, even though I watched from afar, Great Job! Also, if Tom get's elected does that mean he get's a pay-grade increase also? ??? Love ya Tom, and you deserve top pay in my book just for your cool demeanor!

How about we suspend the Burger Wars quest for this meeting.? As I stated earlier, something more central would be good. I also think Liberty Burgers would require most of the membership to ride on some of the most accident-prone roads in the metromess during what will still be a crowded traffic period. I'm for L&WIT in Grapevine unless someone has a better, centrally located suggestion.

I concur with VP that L&W would be more centrally located (close to Denton, Tarrant, Dallas and Collin county borders). They do have a room in the back that we could conduct business and such. We used it the night before the Ride for Kids last fall.. worked out great!

Love and War Love and War Love and War The people have spoken, Love and War it is. I doubt I'll be there, I have an after work work function to attend and chose someplace fairly close to work so I could be there. Y'all have fun replacing me.

The private room at L&W was already booked by a different group for Thursday night, so we can't have a private spot there.
I just reserved the private party room at Fuddrucker's at Grapevine Mills road - it was available, plus they have.... Burgers!
This is where we used to meet before going on the rotating meeting spots, so the room is good for the meeting.
7:00PM dinner, 8:00PM meeting.
Any objections?
I'll post a separate topic for this.
