Just got my fairing back from the painter, had to match the tank and tins.  Heard that the red strip cuts the air and makes the bike faster.... my project bike is complete, except for ........ hahaha

Nice...

what was it originally?  a 2002 STD?  With custom bags and fairing?

correct, started life as a 2002 standard with the the red rally strip.  Added Interstate bags, pods and trunk.  Wanted to keep the single headlight so got a hoppe fairing off gearjammer and finally got it painted and installed.

Gearjammer?

I finally chose between my Hoppe and a Cobra lightbar... Did Bobby have two
Hoppes, or did he make the jump too?

I can't wait to see a picture of "my" Hoppe repainted on its new bike...

He had a second one that I got about a year ago.  Didn't have the time/money to paint it until now.  I really liked the look of having the headlight totally encircled unlike the batwing.

This was the ony one I've ever seen that did that... but I'm fairly new motorcycles with fairings.

Work in progress Mike, deciding on hard bags prior to sending all out for matching paint, project slowed down a bit due to riding it so much, haha !

Those Hoppe fairings are sure unique, the paint job looks nice, hope mine turns out so well . Good job !

I had sold one to Bobby (Gearjammer) a few years back, but I think that is the one he has on his "Magnum". It originally was on Kingbee's bike,  then mine.
