COIL WIRE

As I was puttimg the carb bank back in place I had the coil (under the tank clutch lever side) loose for more room.Some how I bumped the 2 electrial wires off their post & have not a clue which post they go to ? One is black with white stripe ,the other is yellow with white stripe.I see them in the manuel but I'me  not clear to what post they go to?Can someone please tell me which one goes on the post toward the center of the bike?           Thanks Harry

Black goes to the positive side of the coil and the striped wire goes to the negative side

Hi Harry...sounds like you are getting close to running. I made some notes in my book about that coil cause I removed it duiring the carb and desmog work. There is a green terminal on the coil. The yellow/white stripe goes to that terminal. The black/white stripe wire goes to the other terminal which is black. I believe thats exactly what Jeff said with a little different wording...
