Willow and I have been out of the country for the past 15 days.  So, if you have sent either of us an email or left a voice mail message for either either of us during that time, we will get back with you in the next few days.

We had the experience of a lifetime over the past couple of weeks.  We went to Nicaragua with a team of 28 others on a mission trip to build a church in the town of Pantasma.  The poverty in that area is something else.  The homes that most of them live in are made of slabs of wood and sheet metal.  Most have no running water and the restrooms are similar to an outhouse.  The people may be poor, but they are definitely rich in spirit and very loving and giving people!

The hotel we stayed in was in Jinotega, and considered the nicest hotel in the area.  We traveled 2 hours each day to the work site.  The accomodations were very nice according to their standards, but it was just a place to sleep for us and a place to shower (although we got very used to cold showers).

I will try to post some pics up later and I will get to all the emails and telephone messages as soon as I can.  Thanks y'all!

Our daughter went to Nicaragua with a group called Build-On.  They help build schools.  She stayed at the home of a host family.  Dirt floors, no hot water out of the faucet, outhouse, beans and rice two meals each day.  And she loved it!

It's about giving....getting come after.   cooldude

Just wanted to bring this back to the top.  Please, y'all give me a few days to get caught up on things.  I am responding to emails and messages as fast as I can.  If you have sent me emails, there is no reason to send another, I am working on it.  Cancellations that were before the deadline will be processed this week.  While we were out of the country, I was busy with other things and did not always have computer or telephone access.  Thanks.  Smiley
