An intersting read, for sure.
Given this nation's headlong rush toward bankruptcy, it will be/should not be a great surprise to any if we see more and more of these types of taxes being used in a vain attempt to curtail the downward slide.
A side benefit of course, is that more control of our lives is being taken by government and it is not even understood.
The boiling frog story comes to mind.
