32 years ago today I married an amazing man and we've had had some great times and some not so great times. I can’t imagine anyone else I would have wanted by my side to share those times with. He takes care of me, he's my rock and my inspiration. He's a man of God. He's who he is at all times and never tries to be anything else; even though at times I do have to take very deep breaths, like I’m sure he does as well when I can’t seem to turn off my brain that seems to work 24/7 and along with that the constant random thoughts that comes out of my mouth at any given time of day or night, becasue of the brain the works 24/7. He's understanding my need to care for my Dad and never once makes me feel guilty for doing what I need for him.  God made us all in his imagine, unique and special and I’m so glad he made him for me. May God grant us his Grace for many more years together.

Patrick I love you and miss you can’t wait to see you tomorrow.

Let’s see if I can get this right, 32 years of marriage bliss.  Yea right.
Do you still believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny?
Brothers and sisters this ain’t been easy.  Hard work and keeping comments to yourself.  Doing things you wouldn’t ever think of if you weren’t married. Almost losing a Son at a very young age.  Both of us losing long time jobs in a span of 6 months.   Losing a father when I was 23.  Slowly losing a father in law to Alzheimers only to have his wife have a stroke and die of cancer in a couple of months. Taking my father in law out of his home, knowing he would never go back. This marriage stuff is hard. Hard for a good reason.
Some 34 years ago I asked my God for a woman that I could live with and share the same values forever.  Being a merciful God (obviously he has a sense of humor) he gave me the gift of Carolyn. Carolyn has one of the kindest hearts I have ever known. It is natural with her.  An incredible woman who has been a mountain of strength by my side.
This journey has been hard at times but I always have the greatest blessing God ever gave me. Last year he really blessed us both again. We both are enrolled in a 4 year Disciple Bible Study. It has been an amazing journey  studying  with her. She does inspire me.
Carolyn, thank you from the bottom of my heart for excepting me and walking with me on our life’s journey. I only wish all of you could have a the the same kind of love from a woman I have had.
PS If you don’t get home soon I will give you another black eye.

Don't know either of you well, my loss, we've only crossed paths a few times, but it was obvious to me when I met you what truly wonderful people you both are. It's funny how some people don't have to tell you they are christians. You can tell by their love. You two are so much that way. Congrats on 32 years together, hopefully at least that many more to come.

Ohhhhh my Gosh!!!  Happy Anniversary you guys!!! cooldude
It is truly a great experience when you have found your life partner....I know cuz I have also!
Raising kids with all the trials and tribulations.  The experience of growing together as you face your life together...with all the set backs and pure joyous moments.  The total commitment and sacrifice of being with one person till death do you part.  It truly bonds 2 people in a way few know.
Bob & I are working on 36 years of marriage and we went together for 5 years before that...
Love him Kiss
Congrats to you both cooldude Cheesy  YAY!!

Happy Aniversary!!  You don't see a lot of couples who stick it out for the long haul anymore.  My wife and I hit our 30 year mark back in April and I feel the same way about her.  She's one in a million and has stuck with me through some really trying times.  Congratulations and I hope you make it another 32.   cooldude cooldude cooldude cooldude cooldude

What's 32 years between friends? Really close friends? I think the two of you have just answered that question. Congratulations to making the best of a long road, and of each other. Threats of spousal abuse will not be reported. They will be graded, however. D-, Pat.

Darryl,
We're celebrating big alright...I'm in Albuquerque for work and he's out with the guys tonight having "anniversary" dinner. I just got back to the hotel; talked to Patrick and told him I'm trying to decide where to go for our anniversary. Of course you know after 32 years we can joke about this.

I don't know you two but wanted  to wish you a Happy Aniversary  and congratulations on 32 years! cooldude  It has only been 24 years for us and God couldn't have sent me a better person. After we were married we found out that we were both praying for a Godly person the same year before we ever met! Like you we have had our share of trails and tribulations, but God always brought us through it as always. As y'all know God is love and he intensifies the relationship a zillon percent!  Smiley He is the one that put us together and keeps us together.

Congrats to one of the finest couples I have ever met! Two years ago when Cyndi and I went down leaving Inzane, this fine couple stepped up, along with others, to give of their time and efforts to help us out. Carolyn was non stop looking for transportation options if we needed them and drove us all over from the hospital, to the drug store, back to the motel. She and Lori was with us for hours. When we got back to the motel and Cyndi got settled I finally really decompressed. Up steps Patrick and Carolyn, whose words of wisdom and understanding really made a difference. I will never forget thier efforts and the time they took for us, people whom they really did not know from anyone. A special couple who sets the bar for all of us! Congrats again, can't wait to see you at InZane.
