Will apply for the kitchen pass and see if I can be there.

Thanks for posting this, Jeff.  I really like to see a post that makes a small event "inclusive"! cooldude

First, thanks to Wanderer for setting this up.  Sixgunsr and I arrived about 7:20 at the airport.  Nice outside eating area about 100 feet away from the taxiway and a little further from the runway.  Quite a few planes coming in and leaving.  Next to the eating area was the aviation gas pump, so a few planes pulled up next to us to fill their tanks.  Some just flew in for breakfast.

After a few minutes, Sidecar came up with his kids in the sidecar.  Victor and I moved to a larger table.  Then Chauffeur rode in on his Supervalk "Jeannie" bike, followed closely by a couple who Gary knew, Bill and Jo, on their gOldWings.    We then ordered and after another 10 minutes, up came the Wanderer on his Rebel 250.

Massive pancakes, hot coffee and a fun server named Ruth made it a great morning.  We sat, talked and ate for close to 2 hours, then my kitchen pass expired and I headed back to the ranch.  I'm not sure when everyone else left.

As I said, thanks to Wanderer for setting up this impromptu breakfast.  A great way to start the weekend.

SideCar's kiddos at Blue Hangar Cafe

That is VolvoBob with his back to the camera and a riding bud of his, Michael, with his head cut off. It was the first live view we had of Bob's new wheels, a gorgeous metallic black (everyone together now!) Gold Wing with too much chrome!!! Sounds like it is doing the trick in getting his wife interested in riding with. Yep, he still has the Valk, too!

My 250 is a CBR250R - a major jump in technology over the old Rebel 250. Fuel injection and around 70 miles to the gallon! Won her at last year's DFW Ride for Kids. Turned the odometer over the 600 mile mark on Saturday's ride.

I wish I had gotten a photo of Victor, though he looks to be ageless over the years we have known him. Good fun. Thanks for showing up Volks! ~Jeff

Maybe we should try to have breakfast there every other month or so?

Just thinking out loud.
