The main difference I see is.... Clinton Did have sex with that woman and lied...  and Obama has this country on a downward spiral that I hope is recoverable at some point.....  another 4 years of the same will be more than most can bear.

I find it sad that a person equates whether a person is telling the truth about working for a company with whether the President of the United States, under oath and a married man, is telling the truth about whether he had sex with a young intern.  And let's not forget about his defense of arguing about what the definition of "is" was.  The fact that a person can equate the actions of the first person with the actions of the second tells me exactly how sad a state our country is in.   Angry

I really don't give a rats ass about Bain Capitol, or his tax returns for that matter.

Obama sealed his entire past and that was/is just fine with the looney left. Now suddenly they need full disclosure, but not on the mysterious chosen one, just on the Republican challenger.

The only people this matters to is the people that would never vote for him anyway.

On the other hand how did Obama become a multimillionaire with a community organizer "job".

From CNN article:

Is there anything other than the SEC filings to suggest a hands-on Romney role at Bain post-February 1999?

No is the word from four sources who communicated with CNN on Thursday -- all of whom have firsthand knowledge of Bain's operations at the time in question. Three of the four are Democrats, and two of the four are active Obama supporters in Campaign 2012.

All four told me Romney is telling the truth.

Only one, Bain Managing Director Steve Pagliuca, would talk on the record. The others spoke only on condition of anonymity, citing either Bain's low-key culture or the desire not to anger friends in the Obama campaign.

Pagliuca, a Democrat who unsuccessfully ran for Senate in 2010, told CNN: "Mitt Romney left Bain Capital in February 1999 to run the Olympics and has had absolutely no involvement with the management or investment activities of the firm or with any of its portfolio companies since the day of his departure."

In explaining the SEC documents filed in 2000 and 2001, Pagliuca said, "Due to the sudden nature of Mr. Romney's departure, he remained the sole stockholder for a time while formal ownership was being documented and transferred to the group of partners who took over management of the firm in 1999. Accordingly, Mr. Romney was reported in various capacities on SEC filings during this period."

Another Bain Democrat who did not want to be identified by name said Romney had no role after taking the Olympics post.

Way to much time is spent it seems to me on, this or that.
The current President asked for the job. He said he could fix not only the problems here at home.
He said he could fix it abroad too.

Guess what... He did not get the job done. Here or there...

Romney is like a bowl of thin custard.

You break through the skin to find very little substance.

Maybe after the Repub convention he and his team will emerge with six guns blazing.

here's the ABC version....

http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/OTUS/mitt-romney-demands-president-obamas-apology-responsible-post/story?id=16775137

claims he stayed on as a part timer down towards the bottom of the story.

doesn't matter, I'm still gonna vote for him. the current prez is desperate and really reaching for anything.  why hasn't he ran on his record? oh that's right his record STINKS!!!

He has already been vetted on this one and it is a Bald Faced lie.

The Obamanator has no record that is good to run so he just lies a lot about his opponents.

Obama once won an election by just getting his rival candidates disqualified.

That mom-munity organising at it's best.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Fudgie,

It make my heart heavy to read those words.

We praise those that gave all so we can be free and you return their sacrifice with what seems to be indifference about the future of the USA.

You do understand that if one doesn't vote then one really can't bitch about the politicians voted in nor their political actions???

Obama cannot run on his record so he will stop at nothing to discredit his opponent.  We already know that he lies! Even more than any other politician.

Romney is the Republican party's choice, NOT mine.  The two party system as it has evolved, stinks but it's all that we have.

As it is, I will hold my nose and vote for Romney.  Maybe he'll pick a better choice for vice president but I doubt it.

I have known of 12 presidents in my lifetime.  Obama is the worst by far.  The Constitution means nothing to him and he will carry out the rest of his agenda with no worry's if he's elected again.

Fudgie, rethink not voting.

While I tend to agree, what I find sad but most predictable is that a sitting President and his campaign are so intent on re-directing our attention away from the real issues and trying to get (us) the public to see a potential integrity issue because Romney won't release more than two years of his tax records.  When Obama won't release most records of his entire life.   Simply mis-direction.

What smart, well adjusted, successful  person could survive an in depth investigation of their entire life?
Not to mention that if nothing is found they can just make it up and successfully spread it as the truth.

What smart, well adjusted, successful  person would even want to take office?

This is why we have the choices that we have.

I believe that Wilson and Carter are #1 and #2 as the worst Presidents we have ever had,, but,, I believe obama will soon take that #1 worst position and move the others to 2nd and 3rd..
I also believe history will show Bush being much better than he is generally given credit for.. Lincoln was the most hated man in the country during his Presidency and is now considered the best president we ever had..

It seems to me that most of us are in agreement that Mr. Obama is a pretty poor,if not dangerous, president. Also seems to me that most of us believe he needs to be voted out of office. What I amnot clear onis why most of us also think Mr.Romney is a poor substitute. Can someone explain this judgement? Was he a poor governor in Mass? Some say yes, some say no,pretty much along party lines. So how much water does that hold? He was immensly sucsessful in running the Olympics. Everone agrees on that. Not saying it even begins to compare to running the country, but it is far and away a better qualification than being a community organizer.
I believe the most important decison a president can make has to do with the people he surrounds himself with. I feel much better about the people he will probably have with him than the loonies that populate the Obama administration.

Consider this, not voting, or voting for someone that has absolutely no chance of winning is the same as voting for Obama.   Romney may not be everyones cup of tea, certainlly not mine, but he is the only choice to beat the incumbent.   At least he is not a socalist and has pleged to undo Hussiens massive transfer of wealth, and wasteful spending.  We are going to need every vote possible to get this boob out of office.  If you think his total distain for the constitution and abuse of power so far is hurting our country, just wait untill he doesnt need to worry about being re elected.   If that happens I can forsee a dictator in our future.   How does president for life sound????

Yep,, I certainly agree that life keeps most folks way to busy to think much about politics.. So they have to rely on other quick sources,, of course.. Thats understandable..
It would be nice if all sources were accurate..I think its despicable and should be criminal to 'spew' inaccurate info by any news agency or political camp..

Just my humble opinion, but I don't think he'd be a "poor" substitute, just a vanilla one.  I don't think that he'd go far enough to do what is needed to straighten out this country in the direction that it needs to go.  I don't think that he's got a clue to the middleclass' needs and concerns for this country.  It's the middleclass that drives this country and nobody is seriously listening.......just more pandering.

I voted for Ron Paul in the primaries.  Personally, I believe that RP's vision for this country is more in line with mine.  I'm not in agreement with everything RP stands for, but I am with alot of it.  Mitt....not so much.  Obama....HELL NO.

I'm disgusted with politics as usual (the lobbiests and the wholesale buying and selling of our congressmen and senators (and the presidency!!!!)) and I believe that a Mitt Romney presidency will simply be more of the same.....just a republican, conservative version of it.....instead of the destructive progressive liberal democratic version where we're headed now with the death to America communists we have in office now.

That said, I'll crawl over 5 miles of broken glass to vote for Romney now.

Fudgie......

Please rethink the not voting thing.   cooldude

Anyone that "understands the middle class" is unelectable. Because their opponent would shred them in an election.  Anyone that thinks "the average Joe" is ever going to be elected is fooling themselves.

I keep hearing that Romney flipped on ObamaCare. The way I see it is that he is doing what a peoples representative SHOULD do. Follow the wants and needs of the people they represent!

Obama flips on gay marriage and he's a hero. Mitt flips on health care reform and he is unelectable?

Here's what's gone over the heads of most......God will not bless those that choose to ignore Him, why should He.  Do you pay attention to those that ignore you?  Say what you want but you're blind if you can't see what has happened to this country as we have removed God from it.
