Two flat screw drivers.  One on each side.  Just twist the handles its usually not that tight.
If you are replacing the ring gear and pinion that one is easy.  Number 1 bearing is the hard one.

Thank you sir. I didn't want to apply a whole lot of force if it required a special jig and a 20 ton press. Knowing that it did not allowed me to proceed. i had to use 2 crowbars rather than 2 screw drivers because twisting didn't budge it. But the crowbars popped it right off.  cooldude
