Cinque Terre, Italy is beautiful.

Sadist friend took me on a couple of hikes/walks when I visited him in Turin.

I've walked the path that joins the five villages. Wheezed the hundreds of steps at one part.

The other hike was up in the mountains around Chamonix. We hiked up to about 9,000 feet and crossed into France to a hikers refuge. He carried all our stuff  cooldude and I carried my water.
