In Tennessee this is by law, a protected right even in time of Martial Law or in time of Disaster.

They can't take em by any means that is lawful.

Our State is thinking ahead of Rohm Emanual and Barrack Obama or using any catastrophe as a opportunity to take your rights away.

Remember some of the New Orelans police were too busy stealing TV's etc from Wal-Mart and other stores.

AL there may be a law in TN but what are you going to do when they come knocking for your guns? You going to open fire on the police / National Guard?

Gun purchases from private citizens are the way to go.  cooldude

I thought by now all had heard of this, if not keep on posting.

our rights are being peeled away, or at least the attempt is being made.

Our National Guard would know better and the Police are on our side. They know the score. It's a small town. We would be fine. I even have two relatives in the Guard.

during the 67 riots in Detroit they brought in the 82nd Abn.  because they knew they would have problems with the local guard/reserves

Yeah it could happen....but I wonder how many National Guardsmen and LEO's would follow orders to fire on their own citizens.

Not in Tennessee. Even in the Civil War we in East Tennessee did not go with the flow. Mostly Union sided here.

We are doing fine. All states with a back bone have this view.

Yah and ya can't have a Gay Marriage here either.
