Trip, the owner of Atlanta Motorsports Park

After the track laps we rode east to the SE quadrant of GA 400 and Hwy 53 for, TA-DA, BBQ.
I've ridden past this place hundreds of times. Normally I pass it early in the day heading north to the N GA bumpy bits or south homeward.

And it was good.

Keith left us before lunch. He ahd to go to work.
I took Mark and Malon on a short mystery tour of the backroads between Dawsonville and home.
I'd ridden past these gates before. Today I had some unwiling models to pose in front of them.

All I can think is that the home owner may have been in a Jerry Lee Lewis band back in the day or contributed to the writing of the song. OR he's just a nut with a thing for the song?
Determined to keep the day on a high we stopped at a local RC flying club.
This guy was zipping this model around.

The copter to the right has variable pitch rotor blades.

We hung around for a while watching a variety of RC aircraft fly.
And then home for a 200 mile day.
No rain.
