everytime we go camping it rains.  seriously!!  ask my kids it's true!!  no matter where or when, it will rain.  here's the wife doing her dueties in the rain!!  (notice, she's not barefoot nor pregnaunt, but there is a stream running INTO the fire pit!!)

i've been doing all the normal things to get it to rain also, you know, waxing the van and cycle, nothing!!!  i'm sure if i get the tent out, it'll rain......

oh the good old days, when we use to get rain......  i thought that global warming was supose to "flood us out" with all the extra moisture in the air?  oh, maybe that's NEXT year....

Had a drought here and then the past 2 weeks have been nothing but rain. Starting to get a little break now. Maybe it's coming your way next........

Wanna pitch a tent in my back yard?  Over 100 again today, no rain since early June! Last rain, and it wasn't much, was the week before I left for SD.  Shocked  Hoser

heck, i'm thinking about my own back yard!!  we're pretty green in some area's by us. NITRO and i took a ride down to LaCrosse, on one side of a ridge it was green, on the other it was brown!! our average temp up here for july was 90* usually we have just 4 or 5 days in the 90's for the whole summer!!

the only problem is i don't think our pop up camper would make it!!  everytime we've taken it for a trip over 100 miles we blow a tire!!  it originally had tires rated for 1000# each, and the camper empty weighed 2300#'s!!  now i've got tires rated for 1500# each, should be good, but don't want to chance it.....
