A suggestion. Most every time I look at a temp map of the US, California...especially the NorCal/coastal area seems nice and cool compared to the rest of the country.

If the northern route gets a chance the LaCresse area of Wisconsin is beautiful with wonderful riding throughout the area.

Quite frankly I don't care where InZane is at I will try and be there! The heat this year was hot, but then again I believe the northern part of the country has had record heat as well. Weather is an unknown factor that is unpredictable, despite the "experts" that try. I like going to different locations and no matter where you go someone is going to travel for a day or two, maybe three to get there. I do believe that keeping it in the central core of the country, whether north or south, is a good move to attract the most riders. I believe the staff has done a great job picking locations and try to keep travel distances in mind for everyone. That being said I wouldn't be opposed to going back to Eureka Springs I sure didn't see all that there was to see or do, but the best part of InZane has always been the people, no matter where the location.

I like the Wisconsin idea. The only time I've passed through was on the way home from IZX and it was beautiful. I like lots of other places, too. Overall, I agree with the esteemed Mr. Whistler.

Flat, sandy, hot, humid. Did I miss anything Oh yeah, summer time traffic. No....you didn't miss a thing. Riding season here is fall, winter and spring. How 'bout the north east. We could all go and visit Anvil. Or how about the Maggie Valley area. Perhaps somewhere around the western North Carolina, North Georgia, Eastern Tenn. area. Or Zanesville maybe?

Reno would be work fabulously for us... Wonderful suggestion Linedog Not crazy far: Nice weather: Great scenery: Plenty of great twisty roads: Plenty of lodging for any flavor: Plenty of Casinos and night life: The area is used to Rally's of all kinds: Not real far from Yosemite for those that have never had that pleasure, well worth seeing:

West Virginia at elevation. Almost everything is reasonable there ($).
I was down in Welsh,WV a couple of weeks ago with a group from the VTXCafe for 4 days. great roads to ride and within a reasonable distance of a lot of side trips comming and going.

... I can guarantee you that it will be sometime next summer and somewhere! Be very careful with those guarantees. Incidentally, there has been discussion, but nothing close to solid (or even wishy-washy) determination.
