We saw this guy and his wicked blown Valk  on Sunday, and never saw him again. Where did he disappear to?

CHeck out the look on his "Ole Lady's" face. I am guessing she wanted the roof fixed. By the looks of the blown Valk w/nitrous on it, probably a cut front brake line....

Or he hit the nitrous and is now on the Oregon Coast, lost....

Genes Gallery sold that bike about 6 weeks ago. I called to make an attempt to buy it, as I have a few times over the last 18 months, and that is how I found out. It has since been removed from their web site. They told me that the buyer was local to them in Springfield MO.

Strange stories going around.  I talked to him, and his wife, and he told me that he built it up himself.  Lived fairly locally (not really sure where) and he rode it rarely.  He made comment that he had around $31k in the bike and has been working on it around 4 years.

Did you notice any smoke and then flames emerging from his shorts as your conversation progressed? Roll Eyes

Call Genes gallery and ask. I just know what I was told in early to mid June. It is in Springfield Mo.

The story I've been told the last 2 or 3 years, is it was on consignment and the owner had built it and only rode it once in a while to pick on crotch rockets around town. Last time I checked (about a year ago) they was still asking 19,000 for it.

I don't know. I assume by the way he talked about the bike that he built it. The last time I saw him he was going inside to register. Never saw him again.
