I'm not really sure if libs are actually boycotting Chic-fil-a, but if they are I'll ask you to support them.

in fact from now on if there is a boycott on the left I'll pretty much call for an anti-boycott. (depending on the situation, business, cause, or product)

I talked the wife into going in Chic-fil-a today, the dang place was packed! looks like the boycott is really working  uglystupid2

I usually won't stand in line long for food,,,, but August 1st will be a whole different story.  I've even invited others to come join in on my dime.  Don't usually eat there, but it's now on my list of places I will patronize.  Starbucks and other liberal establishments have just lost my business.  They won't notice, but I'll let everyone else know.  Bad publicity goes a lot further than good reviews.

Huh?? Roll Eyes

I always liked the place before & now after hearing all the hubbub about the place I've decided to patronize them just a little bit more.
If that pisses anyone off...... tuff luck. That's my free speach at work. At least I can do that for now, folks in Boston & Chicago won't get the chance will they?  Shocked

I don't know how you get that conclusion, free speech is for all in this country especially dissenting voices. if you disagree with the chic folks fine, I kind of agree with them.

P.S. you can be for one thing, it doesn't mean your against the opposite.

If Americans would STOP watching the reality TV crap perhaps they would get involved in their OWN lives instead of sticking their nose into everyone elses.

Reality TV is going to be a major factor in f'in this countyr up.

Sports is becomign reality TV with the silly little drama factoids pushed on the viewers.

All of you who quite serioulsy say I only watch History, TLC, Speed, Discovery, Animal Planet etc etc etc etc etc have you honestly looked at the shows being shoveled down your craw.

Tonight on History it's 4 hours yep 4 mind sucking IQ numbing hours of the fat tacos of "Pawn Stars".

Tonight on Speed it's 3 hours of fat tacos at a crap parts store having silly little hissy fits.

Tonight on Discovery it's 4 hours of Oddities. Can't comment, never seen it but I'll take any bets that it's drama, drama, drama and cheap to produce crap.

Today on Animal Planet it's been 9 hours. YEP 9 excrutiating hours of guys catching fish with their hands. 9 hours. Who the f' wants 9 hours of that crap.

Followed by the drama of those who let their pets rule their lives for a further 5 hours.

Enough examples.

Some of you pay hard earned money for this crap to be fed into your homes and brains.

Yeah we were looking for Chic-fil-a all day. never ran across one on gas stops. In fact we didn't eat at all today, 13 hours riding, gas and go.
Monday I'll send some one for Chic-Fil-a for the whole crew. I do it all the time, I'll just have to do it more often.

Don't plan on going on a Sunday. The owner still closes that day due to his beliefs.

We went tonight.  The wife had the spicy chicken sandwich with Pepper Jack cheese. I just had the 12 piece nuggets with buffalo sauce. Probably will not fight the crowds on the first, but we go there for the spicy chicken sandwiches and the waffle fries!  May go more often for the month of August, why just limit it to one day!

I'm watching some of the best reality television that can't be scripted, the Olympics.  I'm watching not only on the NBC channels but also the live feeds online for the sports I like that aren't being broadcast by NBC.  It's even better cause I don't have to listen to the brainless announcers run their traps.

Maybe you actually need to listen to what he said, and what the company does.

The company does not do ANYTHING to any of these groups.  They serve them.  They hire them.  NO action at all about them, contrary to your statement.

ummm, no. they even hire gay men. not even close to the mark.  let's get it straight (no pun intended)

they support traditional marriage (but that by illogical extension by the left means they don't support gay marriage)

they have donated money to the marriage and family legacy foundation, the fellowship of christian athletes and the national christian foundation. are these groups anti gay? are they pro family values?
you decide.

How the heck did you come to that conclusion based on the article? it says they believe a marriage is between a man and a woman. They said NOTHING about gays not being welcome.  Roll Eyes

Once again the media in this country is successfully driving a wedge between sections of the population and too many are falling for it.

Worry about your own lives.

One guy.Yes, ONE guy said he's against gay marriage.

He didn't say a single word about gay people not being welcome at the business he is CEO of.

His choice, his decision and millions of people are getting their panties in a wad.

Grow up America.

It's doesn't have anything to do with their stand on gay marriage with me. It has everything to do with the liberals and liberal media controlling companies that it doesn't like.

Anyone notice that the Fox news site doesn't take comments anymore? Know why? Because the left started a website copying and pasting vile horrible comments from Fox's comment section. They were claiming they were all Fox news lovers comments. Like the possibility that anti Fox nutz couldn't/wouldn't post there just to make trouble didn't exist.
Huffington throttles conservative comments to be sure they don't get swamped with them and they ban conservative posters. I am banned.
Fox deleted bad posts but the libs were getting screen shots of them as soon as they are posted, and they were collecting them.

My comments & attitude are in reaction to the inevitable barrage of PC bullcrap that is going to follow the Chik-Fil-A guys comments. Predictable as the sun coming up in the morning, always looking to punish any entity that doesn't toe the PC line is what the liberal machine is all about. I won't play that way. It's about time we recognize what is going on & do whatever we can to combat the PC liberal PC media machine.
Even something as small as supporting a chicken joint can help. Roll Eyes

I have nothing against gays & it appears the CEO of Chik-Fil-A doesn't really either.

Just received this from my Uncle Frank in England

Daftland

We live in a country called Daftland
The England we knew is no more
Where sensible people do ludicrous things
Or risk breaking some Daftland law.

In Daftland we've police dogs with muzzles
Less the villain has cause to complain
And to steal from a shop and say 'sorry'
Means your free with no stain to your name.

You had better leave lights on in buildings
When you lock up and go home at night
'cause the burglars might hurt themselves   entering
And there's no way you'll be in the right.

When speaking be wary in Daftland
As some terms that you've used all your life
Now have connotations unintended
And you'll end up in all sorts of strife.

We elect politicians in Daftland
To give us the laws of the land
Yet eight laws in ten now come from abroad
The whole thing has got out of hand.

The borders are open in Daftland
And of migrants there's no keeping track
Just a few of the thousands illegally here
Will ever be caught and sent back.

The exception to this is the hero
Who fought for this land in the war
He's old and he's sick, he might cost us a bit
So he's not welcome here any more.

When the history is written of Daftland
Historians may just recall
That the craziest people in Daftland
Were the public who put up with it all.

Simple freedom of speech. The man simply stated what his religious beliefs were in regard to marriage. We have laws on the books that supposedly protect people against discrimination for race, color, sexual orientation, and freedom of religion. These idiot mayors do not have the right to deny Chik-Fil-A access to a commercial property based on their religious beliefs. Imagine if it were a gay or Muslim restaurant that was being threatened for their beliefs. There are two Chik-Fil-A restaurants in the Boston suburbs; I plan on giving them a fair amount of business in the future. Where is the liberal tolerance for those who don't believe what the left believes?

To many, myself included, what he says or his personal opinions don't matter, I don't care one whit what he says. What the issue is, is that he's using corporate profits to donate to anti-gay rights groups. I.E. If you buy Chick-Fil-A, a small portion of your money will be funneled to these anti-gay rights groups.
Now, you may be fine with that, and that's fine too. But I'm not. Just as if I buy Ben and Jerry's ice cream, a small portion of my money will be funneled to anti-2nd amendment groups.

Chick-fil-a (And Ben & Jerry's) have EVERY right to do this, and should NOT be prevented from opening stores anywhere because of it.

However, as both of those issues are very near and dear to me, I choose to NOT allow any of MY money to go to them to be used against the very causes I fight so hard for.

Subtle difference there, but many are missing it (From both sides)...

I checked on the huffington post to find a list of the anti-gay rights groups, here's one
group that people assert is "anti gay":   http://winshape.com/

Apparently "Christian beliefs" = "Anti-gay"...
