I have the Kahr CW45......and it's just a little too long to carry in all but the longest pockets.....the PM45 is only a half inch shorter and 2 oz's lighter.....but it's almost twice the price...... Shocked Shocked......I think the rifle barreling is a different type and the slide is made differently, but not sure it'd be worth the extra $$...... Undecided......

Eastman Gunshows is just 50 miles up the road today.....where I have to meet my Niece for dinner anyways......guess I'll stop and see if the smaller size is small enough......

I'm thinking it'd be cheaper for me to find a better way to conceal the CW45 I already have.....not real keen on having to buy bigger pants to allow for carrying there and I'm not thrilled with my shoulder holster.....which is only practical in cold weather.....which by then, you can cc in a coat pocket......saw some adds for a fanny pack made just for carrying......maybe I can figure out something along those lines....... Undecided

Concealed carry of a weapon the size of the CW45 requires a costume change......Shirt tail out....It's definatley not a pocket gun.
Fanny packs are for girls and homos...  Wink They do function well though. I forget the name but I got one for the wife unit yrs. ago and it has held up well.

I got the CW45 because of your recommendation......and I like it......I have a holster for use in a belt, but I'm just not a "shirt tail out" kind of guy......goes against my grain and how I was raised..... Sad......

And I tend to agree with you on the fanny pack....... cooldude Cheesy........just trying to figure something out and still keep my .45acp........ cooldude

Yep, there is all ways a trade off......I tried different things and found the only way to conceal in the warmer weather is with shirt tail out. It kind of depends on your body type as well.....I carry the Kahr cw45 and my Springfield XD in a belt holster with no problems. I never worry about the Print thing that some people bring up......even if someone can see that you are carrying it's still concealed/covered.

I know its not cool and very unattractive to the opposite sex.......However, neither of those things concern me. I carry my full size 4" S&W 686 .357 in a fanny pack.  Have done so ever since 911.  On 9-12 of 2001 the day after the towers fell, I took my leather slipper holster and sewed it into the fanny pack and my trusty .357 has traveled with me ever since.  No one has ever suspected or mentioned anything to me about it.  That way I can carry no matter what I am wearing

I guess the $300-400 difference in price would buy a few long tailed shirts??!!........ cooldude......

The only thing about the "Print" thing is that maybe the wrong ppl realizing what it is and maybe panicking??.......I saw a guy here in Athens open carrying a while back.....it didn't bother me, but I bet the cops around here would be tripping over themselves to make sure he was on the up and up if they'd have seen him.....which I think is perfectly legal in GA......not worth the hassle......

I prefer a bit smaller gun for carrying.. I never went for having shirt-tails out either,, but,, because of the stretches in my anatomy over the years I buy shirts meant to be worn out..  Grin

Hawaiian Shirts, made to be worn tail out.   Or rockabilly style bowling shirts.

Stan, I have several pair of these pants by Cabelas.  They are well made and cooler/looser than jeans.  They have elastic waist panels.  You get your regular size, but if you want an IWB holster with good belt, they have the room to take it.  Lots of pockets, reinforced knees, 9-oz., 100% cotton-canvas.  I ride with mine all the time.

That would be seeing the stripper clips in the magazines.

I am a 1911 fan, started with one from Uncle Sugar and have owned one (shhh wife is near) since. I bought a Keltec PF9 to carry. Hard to do after all the 9 Sillymeter ribbing I did. It is just slightly large to carry in a jean rear pocket. Depending on the make of the drawers it can sit in all the way. it aint a Kimber, but I don't feel undergunned at all, don't like the feel of it but it shoots better than it should for what it is and the price.
