Tears came to my eyes when I saw this...Howevber be careful my Friends, the bags as well as the trunk IS DAMAGED. The trunk does not align properly, so you will need new hinges. The bags well when we inspected them we saw under high intensity lights cracks and fishers so I decided not to keep them.

Tears and good memories along with a few bad memories after seeing her on EVIL BAY

I have a 99 Interstate I have been kinda sorta playing with Joe. The bike has sat in the garage partially torn down so this and that can be put on, or taken off (Not to much motivation these days) Someday, eventually, hopefully this bike should look and respond better than Lady Red ever did.    I have been a daily lurker here trying to find that motivation.  Thinking along the lines of getting this Green Monster re-assembled and heading on over to the lower Ozarks just to see if I can find the old Mojo which will motivate me to tear it back down and then doing the customizing thing once again.  Time will tell.

Hope all is well wih you and Yours.

I feel your pain, man!  I had to rebuild a bike that my youngest son turned upside down in a ditch.  It hit just like you had held it up by both tires and dropped it.  It took new bars, tank, & rear fender plus a few other things.  It already had candy apple red with lots of sparkle & clear coat on it.  I sure did hate to have to break out the paint gun again.  Put blue & white on it this time.  Am just now getting the new bags & true duals mounted up, but it has been up and running for over a year now.  So you can do it also.  We will all be waiting to see that bike of yours roll out of the garage.  I'm betting that it will be a dandy!...JTL
