Glad you're both home safe. Great seeing you both and thanks for the help selling tickets. Really great to know the ol' roadside repair is holding up! Home about 7:30 last night. Out by 9:30 and slept 'til 8:30 this morning!

So glad to see those that have made it home. Awesome!
Prayers and God's speed to those like me that like to wander a bit on the way home.
So... anyone up to considering a Spring Break ride? The wheels are already turning. Plans are being set.

More in upcoming weeks.

Got home earlier than most, Thursday night, took the wife out to dinner in Galveston Friday, had a great time with her, rode all day today, just beat the rain. Really had a great time at Inzane, looking forward to the next one.

Well....not home just yet... Inzane was great,& took a little detour .... I'm in Cleveland,Tenn., near Chattanooga.. Headed out this way with the Tennessee "Wild Bunch,",who were great to spend time with on the road... Thanks Smokin Joe & T-Bird!! Taking the Cherohala Skyway manana to Robbinsville,NC., & will do the Dragon on Monday. I plan to swing through Birmingham this week to see the Barber Motorcycle Museum,on a leisurely trip back home to San Antonio with a stop in SW Louisiana to see family.

Back home this morning, early, from a side trip to Lubbock to visit my Dad. Eli & I cut out early Wednesday, riding west across Ok in the heat of the day was brutal, evening weather showed 105* for a high. Whew... thus my reasoning for riding at night coming home. But that has it's hazards, not only forest rats of which I saw a few.
Riding south of Abilene, I kept feeling water drops hitting my right wrist. First attributed it to being behind an 18 wheeler and catching some AC droplets, but it was sticky. Stopped for fuel in Cross Plains, and noticed a coolant droplet trail behind me. Uh-oh. Checked it out, the fluid was coming from the coolant reservoir, filled to over flowing. Eased off the radiator cap.. no pressure at all. cursed after-market, pretty chromed, temp gauge radiator cap had failed. Would hold no pressure even tho the gaskets looked good. Kept letting the coolant expand into the reservoir. So, stop every 40 miles or so, siphon some coolant from the bottle, add about a pint to the radiator, and ease on home. Now, I gots-a sticky mess to clean up.
Did you know a gallon of coolant at a convenience store costs 21.95 ?
And HDL wants $25 for a new radiator cap.
But I had a blast.

HG and FB...Just wanted to let you know that Blotar's son is fairly near you. They are heading north out of Cody Wyoming right now and will be roaming that area for the next few days. They have a trailer in tow just in case you find yourselves in need.

I know it must be be awesome out there in Nevada....I am too jealous!!! If I had not had commitments at home I would have connected with Bruce's son somewhere and tagged along with them but just wasn't in the cards this time. Another trip I guess!

Made it in Thursday afternoon `bout 1400.. I would have posted my return earlier, but my U-verse wasn't having it after being shut down after being unused for a couple of weeks. I wanted to stay in Tennessee & NC for another 4 or 5 days, but the rain was supposed to start tuesday for a solid week. I did the Cherohala Skyway and the Dragon.. Didn't have enough time for the Blue Ridge Pkwy, but I would like to return to that one real soon..The ride home was uneventful, just long and hot,but the Barber museum was incredible.

Glad you made it home safely, other than the heat, it had to be a nice trip. Wish I could have done that as planned, another trip, another time. Good to have met you.
