Almost all pictures were taken by my resident photographer Hollyday (Liz).  Thanks sweetie!

This is our approx. 1300 mile trip to and from Eureaka Springs for Inzane as viewed by our camera.

PS:  You know its gonna be a good ride when you see a sign that reads, "Crooked and Steep next 37 miles.  Drive with care".  To some, thats a warning, to others its a promise!

DAY 1

And were off!  Hayhauler with BJ Hay, Disco, BigEd, myself and Hollyday.

Our first big stop, Robbers Cave in OK.

Its already hot.  Had to get some snowcones!  Disco and I.

Hayhauler and BJ Hay

BigEd

Robbers Cave!  Yea, we weren't impressed either.

Nice scenery though.

Snapped this for Wanderer on the way though some little town in Latimer County.

Heres a view from Talimena Scenic Drive.

All of us lined up for a photo op.

Disco carving a corner.

One of those random pics you get when you take a picture going down the road.  "One of these things is not like the other".

Our second big stop was at the Runestone Park in Heavener OK.  These tablets were left here by the vikings around the 1300's.  One of them was huge!  But pretty lame.

This is some of the scenery that surround the runestones.

.....    Every trip we take, there is at least one of these.  Usually its me though.

Weeee!

DAY 2

Breakfast.  BigEd gettin serious with it.  My biscuit had a face in it!  The waitresses were laughing in the back saying, "Have they never seen a biscuit before?"

Hayhauler is happy hes got some food, BJ Hay is just happy, and Disco is chattin it up as usual.

On they way up 23 in Arkansas, we ran across some of the other Houston area people where Sparky51 was having petcock problems.  Joevalk is getting trained by Professor Disco.  And then theres Hayhauler.....

Just when we got to the good part of the Pig Trail, we run into this.  We could hear Hayhauler screaming from back here!

Hayhauler takes off after ditching the horse trailer!

If got serious flask envy!  Hotglue put me to shame.

Hanging out after the cookout.

Flamingobabe, BJ Hay, and Hollyday enjoying themselves... and the wine.

DAY 3

Bunch of us having some dinner and beverages at a local mexican restaurant.  Not much happened this day.  Mainly rested and hung out.

DAY 4

Went up into Missouri (mark another state off) and rode some awesome roads.

Posing for a photo op.

Some of the houses in Eureka Springs.

More houses.

Here's a bunch of beauties lined up.

Serk this one is for you.  Though I forget his name.  Not sure if the purse next to him matches very well though.

Just when you thought 5_19 couldn't get any taller...

DAY 4

Disco playing in the rodeo.

BJ Hay playing around too.

I think someone is getting in his way, and he is seriously thinking about running them over!

He may be cheating with the BMW, but 5_19 has some skills.  Coincidentally, this photo was named 00519 by the camera!

Disco and Discette playing in the rodeo too.

Some of the bikes at the Joe Boyd Memorial Ride.

A whole section of the Berlin wall the Psalm 23 in German.

DAY 5

Think my neighbors would be mad if I got this wind chime?

Random nature pic.

Here is a picture of my picture taker!

One lane bridge.  Notice the wheel base section is several inches taller than the base.  "Focus Randy, focus!"

The power plant of the War Eagle Mill

The inside, it actually works and sell all sorts of grain products made onsite.

No, I'm not on the wrong side of the road, that's the view from the back.

Here are some pics of the bike show.  We all have the same bike, but there aren't any too alike.

Bike show.

Bike show.

Bike show.

Bike show.

Bike show.

Here is one of the tech sessions Dragon put on to help keep the babies on the road longer.  Big thanks to Dragon!

Flamingobabe and 5_19 selling some raffle tickets at the Closing Ceremonies.  That many tickets for $20 is a bargain!

Hollyday showing off her new bracelets (exhaust tips) and her anger issues!  Wonder Womaaann!!

DAY 6

On our way to Hot Springs. You can tell by this picture we're having some fun!

Can you tell now?

Another photo op.

Feeding the ducks, geese, fish, and ourselves at Fishermans Warf in Hot Springs.

DAY 7

The last real curve of the trip.  So sad.

Now we're just in a hurry to get.....

Thanks for sharing the great pics and ride report, Hollyday & Thag!

But, for the record, I was NOT doing what it looks like I was doing in the park, and there was no schooling from me.  It was much more like a contest to see how fast each of us could get the tools and parts out of their bikes, assembled, and reinstalled on Sparky51's bike.  Total collaboration and another example of how great this group is.   cooldude

Great pics!

We rode down 64 in Arkansas to get to Memphis on the way back. Through a section of
agriculture, there was a crop duster swooping down perpendicular to the road, hitting
the field right next to the road. I thought there could be nothing cooler than to see
him swooping down right over our heads or right in front of us, plus he did some
pretty good gymnastics as he turned and went back for another row, it was like his
plane was on a giant pendulum, and he really was just coming 10s of feet away from
us on the road. But it was much cooler when he went to the next field... he
hit it parallel with the road, and he hit the row closest to the road on his first
pass... he looked closer than this in my mirror  cooldude  and then zoom
right past us like a car in the adjacent lane...

Thanks for the pics - makes me miss it that much more.   That last pic of Hollyday is the first time I've ever seen her without a smile.

As for this picture, it seems you have the captions off by one pic.  Shouldn't this one be captioned "Weeeee!"?

Randy and Liz,

Thanks for the great pics.  I'm so glad Liz is a great photographer and was able to capture the moments.   It was a blast traveling with y'all and getting to know you better.  Pb&j on the pig tail, moscato at the pool, cat head biscuits(not!), chip fight at the the Mexican restaurant(oh yeah Liz, I started it...lol), etc, etc, etc.  Hope to see y'all soon.

Hollyday,  that is going to be one awesome looking faring when we get finished.  Wink.  He will be so proud when he wins the 'WILD Modified' class at the next Inzane.  And it will be a safety feature cause cars will definitely see him coming.  Lol
