Bent Kickstand Cross Member

Went to look at another Valk today.... it has some issues, but ran fine.  A big issue is a bent cross member and the owner torched the kickstand to bend it and cut off the grab bar on it, rather than straighten the cross member (not sure he knew what was bent). The bike stands up pretty straight even now after the stand was counter bent a bit.   I could try to bend it back but understand that could weaken the member even further, or worse break it.  Is there an easy fix.... other than cutting, welding or doing the fix BigBF did?

The bike is for sale and that is one of the major issues I want to investigate before a possible purchase....   Thanks in advance for the info.

No easy fix that I'm aware of.Some sort of augmentation will have to be done...  Big BF did mine a few years ago, no worries since..

I twisted mine about 6-7 years ago. I strapped the bike down to my table lift and rigged up some bars to pull on to twist it back. I hooked on with a come along and pulled it back straight. Never had a problem since.
I bent it trying a single sided swingarm. Not the best Idea I had.
