my wifes brother passed away recently. i'm looking for a display case. all i can find are made from CHEAP wood and then stained.
can't afford a $100-$200 one.
any web sites come to mind?

looked at amazon and that's where i found the CHEAP ones.

thanks in advance.

I make them all the time.......a casket sized one would be close to a hundred dollars anywhere you go.......thats a good price if its a good product....or you have to get the cheapo one....thats just kinda how it is

When my Dad died 21 years ago...Army Vet., I got the flag.  At that time, the case I bought was at Walmart...of all places.  Cherry wood, real glass.  Beautiful.   cooldude

That was back when Walmart had a "buy American" campaign going.  Little did we know back then.   Cheesy

Don't know if you have Hobby Lobby in your parts, but they carry a few, some that hold momento's, pics, medals & ribbons for around $50. last I saw. Look very nice, wood w/black laquer. Probably made over yonder.

Was at Kohls the other day and just happened to see some cases there.  Didn't look at them too close cause don't need one but that might be another option for you.

If you are talking about the triangular shaped ones you can get a custom cabinet shop to make one fairly cheap.
