We only live about two hundred miles from InZane XII Ground Zero, but we took a few extra days to relax in Northern Arkansas and visit with my grand nieces and nephews.

We took the long way home.

Take the Long Way Homepowered by Aeva

We left Salesville at around 13:30.  I usually have some music playing in my head as I ride.  Riding through the north Arkansas and south Missouri stretch of route 5 I was listening to this little number.

I will Wait For Youpowered by Aeva

But somehow, as I listened, the words morphed into this:

If it takes forever
I will wait for you.
Through a thousand sweepers
I will wait for you.
'Til you're in my mirrors
'Til I'm towing you,
Then forevermore
I'll ride with you.

Riding up through Missouri I was remembering our visit to the Thorncrown Chapel with this song:

How Marvelous, How Wonderfulpowered by Aeva

Even though the heat was at times overly oppressive for my riding partner, this little tune kept working its way through my miniature concert hall:

Let it Ridepowered by Aeva

As we got a little closer to home I was thinking back on last week and the great time we had at InZane XII.  This song seemed appropriate:

I've Had the Time of my Lifepowered by Aeva

I'd like to say a big "Thank you!" to everyone who attended InZane XII and made it the fun time that it was.  I hope to see you all next year if not before.

I'd like to say it's good to be home, but, well, you know how it is.  It's necessary to be home and home we are.   cooldude

Most Excellent! (To quote another friend)! Now you can begin to suffer with the rest of us in PID, Post InZane Depression! Thanks for a great week you guys and the rest of the staff did an outstanding job. We did not get a lot of riding done, but we had a great time and thoughly enjoyed ourselves. A nice relaxing week. And the Thronecrowne Chapel service was awesome.

You must be referencing the stroll I took in Big Mike's slicker.  I'm pretty confident there were no pictures taken during that event.  Even if there were, it's unlikely anyone recognized me.  People kept calling out their greetings to Captain Gordon and asking for fish sticks or some such thing.

It was a nice refreshing summer rain.   Smiley

Hey!  Those pix are awfully blurry.  That could be anyone.   Roll Eyes

I wouldn't be a bit surprised if they were photo-shopped.

It was less than a snug fit.   Wink

A picture sometimes is the very next best thing to being there

Sure seems that everyone had a great time, which is exactly what is
expected at an Inzane

Hope to see you next year Captain and your child bride as well

Yes, sometimes the echo chamber between my ears gets a bit cluttered.   Smiley

Yes, she did.  Scary thought, isn't it?  I hope this InZane doesn't prove to be too expensive for me.   Shocked
