I haven't been able to take any overnight trips on the bike yet this year. Between loosing most of my vacation (and a lot of money) due to my leg surgery and the cost of tearing down an old barn and building a new one a big trip just doesn't seem to be in my future this year.

Be that as it may the weather has been great for riding and I've been taking advantage of it. I had to take the truck to town last week and as I pulled out of the drive I realized I didn't know how long it had been since I had driven a cage but I knew it had been many weeks.

I've had the valk since Aug of 2004 and I've put about 89,000 miles on her since then. I know that's far less than a lot of you ride and it's less than I'd like to ride but I feel lucky to spend the time I do in the saddle.  Although a motorcycle has been my primary mode of transportation for most of 40 years I've never enjoyed riding more than I do now on the Valkyrie. Man, what a great motorcycle.  cooldude

Funny, I enjoy the sound of my Mark T's and the handling of my valk more every time I ride. You'd think it would get less fun eventually but it's not happening yet.

Life's good and it's even better when you ride.  cooldude

My feelings exactly. I am up here in rainy Or .but I do get a lot of riding in.10000 miles in three months and it gets better each time.I think my age has something to do with it.A person has to enjoy every minute they got because sooner or later he runs out of minutes. My 02 has 140000 miles and I want to double that.I'm hoping I can ,I'll be 70 in Jan.and I'm not ready to stop.

Every twisty i leaned into every time i turned up the wick every time her howl bounced off the rock cuts and the bridges well lets just say the grins guffaws giggles and outright laughing still make this here old farts day. Therer MIGHT be other M/Cs-but not fer me. The fat lady has my heart-well a good piece of it anywho. I ever hit a big time lottery jackpot-you is gonna see da biggest M/C whore ever rode in yer entire life-guaranteed.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.
