The June monthly meeting will take place near Denison at Loose Wheels. Dinner at 7:30, meeting at 8:30 or so. Loose Wheels is a motorcycle friendly place with great BBQ and other Texas fare. Live music as well. It should be a great place to meet.
June is the month when nominations are placed for officers of the DFW VRCC. The offices up for election are President, VP, Sec/Treasurer and Ride Coordinator. Note that we have no treasury, the VP has handled the correspondence and the President and VP are co ride-coordinators. So, maybe we only need two officers. It's up to you, the club. The terms are for 2 years. Elections will take place at the July meeting.
You may place names in nomination at the June meeting or via email response prior to the meeting. Anyone nominated will be asked if they choose to accept the nomination, again prior to the meeting on the 11th.

I have talked to the "social director" at Loose Wheels and they will be glad to have us come in. Can be reached from Greenville (Hwy 11 to 75) or 289 (Preston to Hwy 56 to 75) or Hwy 35E (to Hwy 82 at Gainesville to 75) or 75 (Central) of course. Exit 65 off 75(Hwy 691 -- Sign for Grayson County College/airport) , turn right at stop sign. Pool is the first street to the left past the construction of the new hospital (it does not turn right). There is small Loose Wheels, Texas sign (about 2-3 off the ground) on the northeast corner of Pool. Loose Wheels is at the top of the hill on the right. Please be aware and approach with caution... the parking lot IS gravel.
If wanted, I can set up a local meeting point to lead anyone out there, some have already been there.
