On Saturday at the Romp in the Swamp. After lunch at Pat's in Henderson, we will be going to McGees to take a 1 1/2 hour tour of the swamp. There is a gravel road up and over the levee and gravel parking lot at McGee's. We will have vehicles to transport you the 2 miles from Pat's to McGee's if you do not want to traverse the gravel on a bike. I sure don't want anyone to lay their bike down in gravel, so PLEASE take the transport if you don't feel comfortable with gravel. Since it is only 1 1/2 hours, so you only need to pack half the cloths that Skipper, Gilligan and the Howells and company did for their 3 hour tour.
I have contacted McGees and the COST FOR THE TOUR WILL BE $18/person. So, the costs for SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 1st, will be as follows:
LUNCH AT PAT'S - Menu prices
MCGEES LANDING SWAMP TOUR - $18/person. Don't want anyone to get blindsided.
This is going to be fun, I think! Really fun!!!
Be sure to register if you are coming so I can give them an accurate headcount.
