I received the following email from Chief Earl Hyatt of the Eureka Springs police department and I wanted to share it with all of you.

"Lori,

I just want to say thank you again to the entire Valkyrie club.  They were without a doubt the best group of people who have ever visited this town and not one group has ever left such a good impression on the community as they did.  The community spirit and acts of good will they displayed were a lesson to us all.  We look forward to seeing you all again, as a group or individuals.

May all of your roads be full of curves and safe!

Chief Earl Hyatt

If a group of Hell's angels had come in instead what would his comments have been?
Valkyrie riders: Holding doors open for ladies, respectful in restaurants and stores. Buying things to boost the town's economy. Hell's angels or Pagan's rally: not so much.

My brother-in-law's band plays at a Hell's Angels gettogether
in Myrtle Beach sometimes... he sez it is a real friendly laid-back
atmosphere...
