Have a rattle on the I\S sounds like coming from trunk or speakers. I  installed trunk crash bar and took trunk insert out check for anything loose in it,clean nothing, packed it with insulation  between shell and insert maybe wires were banging around. Took speakers apart , put a peace of insulation between the trunk lid hinges and closed it. Still has same rattle. Lid is not loose  Will be thankful for any ideas.

I hear a rattle to now and then from my I/S trunk. It's the hinges that's doing it to me. I have a little play with the hinge pins. I have used foot pads for furniture to fix that by placing them next to the screw heads.

That was what I thought so I put a wad of insulation between hinges closed lid still rattles,

It must be very loud ,I wear hearing aids ,don't wear when riding .
75% loss in both  ears and I still hear it.

OK,, do you know which side its coming from ?? Could it be a shock spring or really bad bushing ?? If its on the left,, how about a brake problem like the tension spring or the caliper bracket ?? A fender mount or foot peg mount ??

I've only noticed that noise on my I/S when I rode the bike around the back of house on the "grass". It's not a cushy suburban lot so it was jiggling/shifting around pretty good I think.

Wife road with me she says coming from trunk or speakers.  Checked all that you mentioned before she road with me.  Think I will take trunk off see if rattle still there but will be a while 112* here.
