Just got off the phone with Sleep Inn & Suites ... wanted to make sure they still had my reservation, the one I made back in January, and it would appear they don't!  I will be calling back tomorrow morning to talk to the manager but just in case they lost it ... anybody need a roommate? |

Well you made me call Thom...And like you they claimed I had no room either...After checking and re-checking they found it with my phone number seems they misspelled my name  My first name has 3 letters my last name has 3 letters  |

I called and they got my room. So I'm good to go.
Am so looking forward to this ride. Been wanting to go up there for years. I am thinking I may try to get away and check out Antietam which is only about 45 miles due south if I aint worn out from the Gettysburg tour. That was another huge battle as well.

Maybe I'd better pack a tent in one of my saddlebags, "just in case".

English didn't seem to be this guys strength so maybe I will have better luck tomorrow with the manager. |

thats what they told me and all they had was king sized suites. 138 a night. he said there were no discounts for the blue/gray ride. He had never heard of it before... |

On another note, I will be leaving Chambersburg Sunday AM for Ann Arbor MI. Any MI Misguided or other folks that will be heading back in that direction want to hook up? I am trying to map a route that does not include the PA Turnpike (but I am flexible).

I've worked on the road for close to 23 years now and its a PITA to deal with these Hindu Heltons but most of the big chain motels are owned by them now  The days of Mom & Pop motels are just about over. |

Thanks for the offer but I will be in Dayton visiting a friend on the 11th so I will probably get to Newark early afternoon. However I will join you on the ride back on I-70. |

(I can't tell the players without a program LOL) Yes, Detroit area. I think he is going up through PA. I-69 is min from my house and is a hour shy of the MI State line. Not sure how you want to go. Just look for Ind or MI plates on the bikes. |
