I remember eagerly waiting with my grandfather way back in the day to be informed and entertained by the Paul Harvey radio show.  His program seemed to always expose the truths and ironies of the times and I'm sure it played some part in forming some of my conservative values.

My grandfather said that Paul Harvey had a lot of "horse sense."  For those of you that don't know what horse sense is, it's another name for "good stable thinking."
