DFW Thursday Nite Meeting - Agenda

For our meeting Thursday, our speaker will not be able to attend - they will be rescheduled.

So, I'd like to have a meeting talking about future rides, ride locations, when we should ride, etc. 

For example:

Do we want to limit rides to under 5 hours except for special occasions (Hill Country, Meet in the Middle, Bacon and Bluebonnet, Inzane, etc)? 

Dinner rides? 

Breakfast Rides? 

Any at night? 

Ride days (Sat or Sun)?

What about the number of wrench parties?

Meeting locations?

Saturday meetings?

Lots of questions as we plan our year as a riding club.

This meeting we also restart the 50/50 drawings.  For those who do not remember, we sell tickets ($1 for one, $5 for 6) and put the second part of the ticket into a drawing.  The winner gets half the pot - the rest of the pot goes into our treasury for upcoming wrench party refreshments and Ride for Kids.  I'll bring tickets for this and we'll sell them during dinner and the meeting.

I'll also be bringing my Stinger trailer for show and tell.  I'll fold it up and then unfold it as part of the fun.

Only 130 miles from Dallas.

I have room for camping in the yard at the Old Vic if ya don't want to go back Saturday evening, and some room/beds/pull up a corner for sleeping bag in the house if ya don't mind cozy and "construction zone" decor. There's also a nice/clean/affordable motel at the edge of town.

RSVP if you're stopping by the house or staying, no RSVP needed for the stew cookoff...there will be more than even a hoarde of Valkyriders can eat.

I'd come for the meetings, but Thursday nights lately have been "me and Dad" time and I don't know how many more of those I'll be blessed with.
