Try Honda directline.com or HDL.vcom or DirectlineParts.com. They've changed web sites fairly recently so I'm not sure what will work. You can always Google for any of the above. They should be running a sale around Labor Day.

The link is hdlparts.com. You won't find the part by typing in the search box. Need to go to the website and look at the parts fich and find the part and number. It's fairly easy to locate the parts you need. Once you are on the site, it's just point and click cooldude

Side note... Dreyer Honda will sell you one cheap if you play hardball, and call with a part number.

How are your splines, wheel dampers, and driveshaft/pinion cup?

Is there any way to check the u joint besides pulling the swing arm? Since I went darkside I can feel a little play in the drive line, not sure if its because the car tire has more traction or the u joint going bad. I lifted the bike and spun the tire both ways and didnt feel or hear anything, then put it in gear and moved it back and fourth and it seemed fine. I know there will be a little play in the drive line since there are 4 different points of splines, coming out of the transmission, back side of yoke, back side of swing arm, then the pumpkin. The play im feeling may just be the car tire and its better traction. Hopefully nothing to worry about but ok m still buying a u joint for peace of mind.

You don't drop the swingarm to get the U-Joint out.  You just pull the final drive off, and you can get the u-joint out from there.

Side note... I am NOT a fan of using ANY type of moly paste or grease int he driveshaft to pinion cup joint.

It is designed to scrape rear drive gear oil up into it to keep it lubed.  The grease plugs the lube holes, and causes the lubrication to cease.  It also washes into your final drive oil.

I read somewhere that all you should use is a little (LITTLE) anti-seize. I have done 6 rear ends this year.  1 failure.  2 that were ready to fail because of grease in there.  The other 3 had NO grease, and were WET with oil.  In fact... my IS had oil drip out of the final drive joint when I loosened it up.  SLOPPY wet with oil after 6 or 7 thousand miles since last year when I did it.

Your mileage may vary with what I think... but I have seen enough of these Fat Ladies rear ends this year to have an opinion.  Trust it or not.  That's YOUR call.

If you want to come up to Greenwood some weekend... I'll help you do that rear end again. Just let me know.

I should have said we used moly on the splines in the wheel and pumpkin, not the rest of it.  Let me get a u joint ordered and maybe we can get it done and checked out before the dragon round up.

Huh.  I just bought one from them 2 weeks ago for $130.  But they had it on hand.  I saved them from returning it.

I also told them they should keep ONE on the self, as these beautiful ladies of ours are getting a little aged.

For me... I'll spend $8 bucks extra thru the dealer and get it in 2 days, rather than wait 7-10 on HDL.

Nice thing about America... we're all free to make that choice for ourself.

I am glad you got one coming, and like I said, if you want a hand with it... let me know and we'll try to work something out.  I have a decent set up in my garage.  I use a "sling" to support the front end of the bike from the handle bars... then use a regular floor jack to control the swingarm.

Good luck sir.  Again let me know if you need anything.  I will PM you my cell number.

From HDL, here's the link.
I think they are making them out of gold now.
I bought one earlier this year for $78.00 from HDL.
