Bikers don't need shrinks!

Colleyville, TX

Sept 16 - Tulsa, OK.  Riding up back roads on Saturday, the 15th with a few folks.  Join us if you're up for a ride north or if you live up north, join us on that Sunday.  http://www.pbtfus.org/rideforkids/events/2012/oklahoma.html

Sunday, Oct 7 - Grapevine, TX in the DFW area.  10th anniversary ride.  VRCC was the top club last year and will be the first club in line behind these precious kids.  VRCC riders from all points are welcome and invited to join us.  We have had folks come in from Houston, Austin, San Antonio and 3 or 4 other states for this and enjoyed it and the comaraderie.  http://www.pbtfus.org/rideforkids/events/2012/dallas-fort-worth.html

For those who may not be familiar with this ride, it benefits kids with brain tumors and some of the local kids who are fighting this disease go with us on the ride and have lunch with us riders  afterwards.  Here is a great 5 minute video introduction

The Texas VRCC has been a great supporter for these kids and their families by participating and being volunteers at the event.  If you would be willing to volunteer and don't already have the volunteer info, you can either PM me or leave a reply here and I'll be glad to get you the info. Volunteers are done with tasks in time to ride the event.

Hope you can join us!  Please invite your other (non-valk) riding friends to join us as well. This is really about saving kids' lives and not about what bike we ride.

Sidecar:

I'm in for October 7th - Rainmaker reminded everyone tonight about the charity ride.

I'll see you guys at Grapevine Mall - I'm up for meeting for an earlier breakfast if you want to do that as well.

Thanks!

Admiral - Sounds great. Have a great weekend and get some riding in between rain showers.
