There is a sign on the right just before you get to Pool indicating Pool Road on the left which makes it easier to find it.  Plus when you exit Hwy 75, if you look between the two buildings, you will see the Texas flag flying high.  that is at Loose Wheels.

I rode up to Loose Wheels yesterday (always went in the car before).  Anyone who knows me knows I avoid gravel at all cost if I know in advance that's where I'm headed.  Well, I did it.  I rode in and out without dropping the bike, or having a heart attack (may have gritted my teeth a little).   Go in the second (most northern) gate, and it is pretty well packed down.  Then if you go just past the little open building on the left at the "rope", there is an entrance marked for bikes to enter off the parking lot, and park inside off the gravel.

IF they stop you and ask for a cover charge, it is very important that you tell them you are going to EAT  I had the pulled port sandwich yesterday... It was good, and they put cole slaw on it, which I thought was strange, but it was good.

Rode with the event planner yesterday, and she is going to try to make contact with us.

I hope you can come.  I realize it is a distance for most of you.

Wild horses couldn't keep me away! Loose wheels could, but I plan on checking all that stuff on my pre-ride check. ~Jeff

Old Info - Don't believe it!
How 'bout KSU at 6:00pm for us southerners that might ride together to Denison from the Exxon at Eldorado and Preston, southwest corner. Heading up the ole Preston Cattle Trail (Preston Road) to points north. ~Jeff

I am caging it this evening to Denison for the meeting. Shooting straight up 75. ~Jeff
