I just put the Cobra on the front and the Battleax on the rear.  The rear was so squirrley, I went home immediately and removed the tire.  I checked the placement and put it back on the bike.  cooldude
The bike was just as squirrley as before.  Undecided  I KNOW I put it on right.  Torqued the axel nut per the manual.  I took it out and rode it about 60 miles yesterday, and it is finally getting some scruff on the tires.  So its now ready to go.  It dont feel like the rear end is sliding out from under me.  And the bike now tracks better and I feel like I have some grip.
So bring on Thursday morning.  I am so ready to get out of town!  Wooooo Hoooo

See ya in Wytheville.

If finding it squirrely still I would check the tire pressure.  I run 40-42 in mine.  Some I have heard run as low as 32, but I don't like it.

Good luck on finding the solution.  I love the darkside.

I've got to agree I would'nt trade my Cooper Zeon 2XS for any motorcycle tire it just out shines them on so many levels with ride, braking, wet weather, twisties ,plus it looks better on the fat girl  cooldude  etc.

They just needed to be scuffed up.  They are doing much better.  It just felt like the rear end was trying to come around/slide out from under me when I took curves.
Just dont want anything to get in the way of this ride.  I rode it to work today and it is much better.

But Glenda and I will be there.
Ride safe til we see ya
