After the dealer changed my front tire I suddenly have an intermittent shifting problem. Not that I see any reasonable relation, but that's when it started.  Going from Second to third, upshift only, I get a "sticky" pedal, like, it won't move.  It is not shifting the gear, but neither is it dropping out of the gear I am in, mostly I can release everything and try again and it will shift or I can downshift and try again and mostly it will work.  Again, this does not happen every time!  I've checked clutch fluid and there seems to be enough in there.  Not even sure whether this is a simple adjustment problem, a clutch issue or a transmission problem.  Any thoughts?  Thanks

I'd bleed the clutch. What color is the fluid in the master cylinder window? Transmission issues are very, very rare.

clutch fluid level is OK and the color is starting to turn a bit yellow.  Where do you bleed the clutch?

There's a piece of chrome tubing in front of the center cover that points forward and up.  That where you bleed the clutch.

A bit yellow is okay, clear best, root beer bad.

If the clutch level feels Ok, then I don't think that is your problem.

Maybe a good look at the shift lever to see that everything is good.

Could be the lever is bent or out of position causing the problem. Wouldn't be the first time.

Some riders have found shifting problems based simply on the footwear they are wearing at the time.
