BJ and I went to say goodbye to the Shuttle Endeavor last night.  It was very humbling.

When you stand there in the shadow of this machine, you realize just how many things have to go exactly right for it to fly..

BTW, I bet flying that 747 with a shuttle on the back is like flying a huge brick with a jet engine on it.  Smiley

great photos, Jimmy.

I remember going out to Edwards to watch Columbia land in the early 1980s.

This signifies the end of an era.  kinda sad.
