Chicken fried steak lunch @ Mary’s café in Strawn
Lynn Bridgewater , Dave, Mark (Rainmaker), JC, Ron (Speedo) and Victor (Six Guns) invite you to join us for a Chicken fried steak lunch @ Mary’s café in Strawn (50 miles west of Weatherford).

Ride starts at the Race Trac Gas station on the NE corner of Hwy 199 and Loop 820
KSU 9:30 am.

North and East Dallas riders can meet Speedo (972 816-5892) at 8:15am at the McDonald's on the NW corner of I-635 and Monfort
That’s one exit west off of 635 past Preston Rd)
KSU at 8:30 am.

If you call, we will make a stop at 8:50 pick other riders at Chevron/McDonald's at NE corner Hwy 121 (114) and Main Street in Grapevine
(Joe crab shack is on the SW corner).

Ride Details

Take FM 199 west (Lake Worth drive turns into Jacksboro Hwy)
FM 1886 west (Lakeside or Confederate Park road)
FM 730 South (Azle Hwy)
180 west to Weatherford (25miles) (Ft. Worth Hwy)
After downtown left on 312 (Ranger Hwy)
At Greenwood left on Dennis (Jones road)
Cross I-20 continue on Dennis road
Merge with 1189 south to Dennis
Follow 1189 Lipan (Brock Hwy) (gas, barbecue, cross Hwy 4)
Follow 1189 to Morgan Mill
Cross 281 and west on 1188
1188 dead ends and go right/ north on 108
Cross I-20 to Gordon
Left / west on 193 to Mingus and Strawn
Strawn go eat

Amy and I plan on meeting you in Lake Worth.  If you don't remember me, we were on the ride to Dublin a couple of months ago.

I remember you, but we never saw your bike.  Oh yeah - it's the Stealth Valkyrie!!!

I started calling my Valkyrie Stealth Bike for several reasons:

a) A previous co-worker told me that when I rode into the parking lot at night he couldn't hear me coming, all he saw were an odd assortment of lights that resembled an aircraft.
b) There's no emblems on the bike so the uninformed don't know what kind of motorcycle it is.
c) Unlike the Hardley riders on the road, you can't hear me coming and I'm just a flash of chrome and black when I go by.

So anyway, the name seemed to fit.

I'm riding with a bunch of realtors on a ride soon and they asked me what I rode.  I told them a Valkyrie Interstate and they had no idea what it was.  Guess that's because they've never been able to read the emblems when I blew past their Harleys!
