Hi!

A fellow Valk I/S rider, who is shopping for an aftermarket windshield, would like your suggestions. Since I ride a Tourer, I'm not in a position to help him with this one.

Any insight would be very appreciated!  Smiley

Tulsa Enterprises on my 2K I/S is wider and higher to eliminate buffeting. It's a "look thru" for me (6'1 - stock seat) which I prefer, but if your friend wants to "look over" then that model wouldn't work for him. G/L

I have a couple now that I am swapping back and forth with.

Stock windshield cut down about 4"s really rough after an attempt and polishing but still functional. Nice for warm weather especially if its Finn be dark out since you can see over it easily, I don't mind the extra wind at all but when it gets colder I will probably swap it out.

2nd one is a Custom-chrome (might be show chrome uglystupid2 Cheesy) I think is the brand name $150.ish from eBay 2" taller than stock and 4" wider great for cold riding and so far clear as I need it to be, almost ZERO buffeting.

3rd is my shorty CeeBailys dark tint that think extremely cool looking not super cheap though. I went with the 10.5" I believe look over it super easy tall enough to keep the wind off my chest a little bit but you have to wear some eye protection of some sort the air flow hits me right in the nose and hop from there.

Reference: 6'1"tall  37.5" arm length  Corbin seat with back rest.

I have a Cee Baileys 12.5" dark tinted, great for summer riding, I can look over it, but I also have a 21.5" for winter time. I like them both.

I have a Show Chrome, light tint, 4 1/2 inches wider and 2 1/2 inches taller. no buffetting at all, and I love it. Stock seat, 6' and I can just look over it.

I've also got the show chrome and love it. I'm 6'2" and can see over it in the rain if I sit up real straight or look through it if I get comfortable. Cold weather it is a plus with the added width and height. It is 4in wider per side than stock and 2--2 1/2in taller than stock

tough choice, all depends on your height.  I'm 5'10" and stock I/S windshield and at times wish I had a 2" taller and a few inches wider shield, but at nights a few times each year,  the entire windshield fogs up and the extra 2" in height I cannot see over and would be dangerous to drive.   Only time wind buffer hits me if I sit straight up another 1" or so and then can feel slight wind turbulence.  If 6' tall or more, I would go with 2 - 2 1/2" taller shield though for sure.

F4 Customs has a few different heights that might be what you're looking for. But what I really like about them is the scratch resistant coating they put on them. Double-ought steel wool doesn't hurt them, you can use the windshield cleaner at gas stations, and you can even use Rain-X without it turning the windshield yellow. No affiliation, just a satisfied customer, YMMV, etc.

Look at the available ones with imperfections . I have the GT medium with vent in light gray and you have to use a magnifying glass to find the imperfections listed. Great quality.
