Thought I would throw these out for the DFW folks

  • This Friday - WBAP broadcasting from Al Lambs 5 am - 9 am
  • Sept 29 - Parade Riding ClassWonder what it's like to ride side by side, police style?
Location: 6300 NE Loop 820 The Hills Church of Christ (formerly Richland Hills Church of Christ), parking area, North Richland Hills, Texas
Time: 9:00 am until 1:00 pm or later depending on the number in attendance.
Instructor: Retired Ft Worth Motorcycle Officer Craig McCaughan   cmccaugh@swbell.net
Sponsored by CMA Glory Riders and open to all motorcyclists
Fee: No fee, but donations taken towards mission work
DOT certified Helmet and boots above the ankle are required, gloves are highly recommended.
I've taken Craig's slow riding class before and it was excellent. I'm looking forward to this class as well.
  • Oct 3 - Maxim Dinner & Auction This annual event has always been fun and all goes to charity towards Ride for Kids (If you get your tickets early before the 9/29 earlybird drawing, you get a chance to win a $250 gift certificate and the tickets are less expensive and can probably do it by phone if you call Bob - ticket includes dinner, drinks and raffle ticket for the evening of the dinner.)  http://www.maximhonda.net/event_list_detail.asp?ecode=546478&smonth=9&syear=2012&emonth=10&eyear=2012&location=0&Submit=Search&inputpage=1

Guess I'll have to take a 2 wheeler so I don't push the other guy out of the lane.  Planning on going tomorrow morning and then to lunch afterwards.  Come on out if you can.

Gary, today is Thursday. What are they doing tomorrow? Isn't it on Saturday at 9:00?
