Boy did I have a surprise last weekend when i set up my tennis balls and ran some of the basic "Ride Like a Pro" courses!

I'm helping a newB get acquainted and comfortable on his ride and agreed to set up some courses and "practice" with him.  I just went from a very wide and low DS tire back to a AVON Cobra and I must say, what a difference there is in LOW SPEED maneuvering!

Once I got him through the basics, and pretty much always looking up and to where he was going, he began to really improve.  ( He's on a Vstar 650 ) I decided to hop on the Valk expecting this to be a piece of cake.  ( I enjoy scrapping my pegs at will )  Was I surprised!!

I had to readjust to the Low speed handling characteristics of the bike now that I'm running the MC tire again.  Once i'm going fast enough to lean - I'm fine!  --- I think i was looking to be the big shot and had some of my pride handed back to me.  Undecided

Nothing like practicing the basics again!
