The other day went and wash my valk and took some pics of her and then put her up for the day, a couple of days later my brother noticed fluid on my front wheel. I haven't rode much this year due to work, my mothers passing and trying to get things in order. Is it normal for forks to all of sudden start leaking when I rode just once this year in April? And what is  the pri$e    Undecided   to replace seals bushings and springs and what is reused. I do see from other postings that it is easy to install seals wrong and have same problem again!!! Any help anyone can suggest ???? Thanks.....

I had a similar problem bike had not moved much and took a quick spin and the left fork seal started leaking, I tried the film trick on the leaking seal and no more leak. Search it or it may even be in shop talk. Its real easy, pull the dust cover take a peice of film negative and slide it between the seal and the fork tube and continue all the way around the seal like that. This removes any buildup that may be preventing a good seal causing a leak or a poor wipe on articulation. I actually used a old x ray film, a little tougher than a photo negative....but others have used the photo negs with no problem and great results. Someone actually makes a plastic seal tool that works too, I'm just cheap. IMHO, try the film trick the only thing it cost to is about five minutes but it could save you a bunch of time and money.

Had the same problem. Took two tries, but the film trick worked for me also. Used an old grocery store loyalty card, cut the hook in it. See youtube video if you are not familiar with it. Some guys are selling something that is shaped just right for a low price. Lots of people are stealing their idea and using something similar. Sorry about that. Would not mind buying their product, but I wanted to do it now.
