I read a few days ago where a question was asked if anyone knew where to go for various fasteners at a decent price.  I too have thought I've been getting screwed royally trying to find a nut, bolt, or screw, whether from Honda or the local Sears store.  One of the responses was to contact a company called "Gardner-Westcott".  So...I got on the computer and looked up their site.  Since I'm barely able to even get the computer on, I had difficulty in trying to use their site. I decided to call them on the phone. The lady was nice when I told her I just needed a couple of screws and she would have "Jerry" call me back (yeah). Sure enough, a couple of hours later Jerry called back. Real nice guy. I didn't really need anything since I just got some stuff from HDL, but I told Jerry I needed four screws for the clutch and brake covers and not PHILLIPS screws. Told him I found some on his site that were what I needed and asked "how much?" and that Honda was $2.50 a piece. He said they were 35 cents. I said send me a dozen. About a week later, got the hex head screws in the mail, the total cost was $5.30 (for 12) including shipping. WOW.  The name of the company was GardnerWestcott 1-800-897-5025, ask for Jerry, or their website.

I wonder how many orders it would take to convince them creating a kit for a Valkyrie...... Roll Eyes

I replaced my master cylinder cover screws with Allen head ones for less than $1 for 4 of them at Fastenal. I'll look at this site and see. I'd like to get most of the fasteners on my bikes replaced with good stuff.

Went to the web site, looked at the catalog.
Check out page 63. They have a picture of a Valk engine. Not specific parts though.

Kinda odd!
