There was a post not to long ago about Kevlar brake pads.  Supposed to be pretty good and reasonable too. I tried looking for it but am search impaired and can never find anything when I want too.... Cry

HDL is not bad for pricing.

I'm using EBC Kevlar pads on OEM rotors. Not a problem for me, but others are adimate that you only use OEM pads and rotors together. The EBC pads are about $30 per set.

Stick with oem pads, I have aftermarket organic pads and they make alot of noise. They buzz alot. My next set will be oem. The organic work great, just make too much noise for me.

OEM pads is what I have done.  Try one of the sites like HDL or Service Honda.  Get the part no.'s that you need then shop around for the best price on those part no.'s.  Make sure you check the shipping costs and whether or not you have to pay taxes.

The recommendation to use OEM pads with OEM rotors and EBC pads with EBC rotors is related to sintered metallic pads (like stock OEM) only.

Organic pads, like the Kevlar pads you are running are a much softer material and don't wear the rotors the same way, so mix and match at your pleasure.

Also check with your local Honda dealer, sometimes their prices are competitive on small items and they usually don't charge shipping.

The Honda pads may be more expensive,, but,, so ....  Honda also has hard and soft pads.. I use the soft.. Its a lot easier to just replace a set of pads than rotors,, thats just my opinion..

I find my local dealer is best for ordering parts.  They have not let me down yet and have delivered them on time.  HDL however has not delivered on time. has backordered part without telling me, and I have waited weeks.

When you add shipping to HDL my local dealer beats them everytime.

They get quiet as they wear.  I kinda like the little hum.   Cheesy  hoser

Cleveland Grant aka Shades has some Valkyrie parts left over.  He sold his Valk and bought a Harley.  He helped me drill my piggies.   He had some EBCs he wanted to sell.

Ride safe

These are the cheapest brakes I could find.
They actually work too.
Factory direct no middle man and at your door fairly fast.
Ive been buying parts from here for awhile.
Risers, mirrors etc.
Now brakes.
They are the OEM manufactuers for alot of bike parts.
I know Im not helping the economy any but I am helping myself.

Good is relative.
3k so far give or take a few 100.
No dust or squeaks.
They are comparable to a set of "FF" organics.
Which is what I like to use on my bikes for commuting.
I have them on my Yamaha too.
And I have never locked them up.
I cant say about that "HH: ECBs I believe is the brand.
Ive locked up my rear wheel on a few occasions in non panic type stop.
HH I find grabby. FF are soft and just right for my riding.

Longevity............. not a clue as I change my pads considerably before the wear marks come into play.

Yep,  wear out the pads and not the rotors.

A whole lot less expensive.
