FRiday I was travelling on the beltway 8 ramp to join the south west freeway. It s a two lane ramp , me on the ST  in the left lane doin fiftyish. in the right lane three cars in line, rather close together. the last a silver  car . am coming pass the siver car when the guy thought he d had enough of being the third and decided to take my spot in the left lane.he moved swiftly, me too, the thumb on the horn .one eye on the very close car the other over the retaining wall down three hundred feet below at the fast moving traffic on 59 , the car kept coming . guess his radio was too loud or he was on a phone . the St is a tall bike there s no doubt I m going over .the front tire is touching the yellow line ,there s only inches to the wall .he s still coming so with my right hand I start hittlng the rear left window on the car by now he s in the left lane me on the yellow .he does not heed the banging  crazy2. so I double up while trying to keep balance his head turns left and an horrible grimace as he realises the situation and immediatly swings hard to the right .he came close to the right wall and losing control .  uglystupid2
this event took seconds . and yes the ST needs a louder horn .Had I been on the Valk the blaster woud have done its job! 2funny

I picked up a dual set of horns from Harbor Freight for the I/S, they are pretty loud but I had trouble getting them to blow thru original horn wires without the engine running. I now have them wired directly from the battery with a relay and finally figured out how to wire them thru the horn button. There were several times in the past I wished I had them or a 45 GJ.
