The Mist and I are at ground zero, there is a valk across the courtyard that i don't recognize here also.  We're heading out for some lunch and a trip to Luckenbach.

I miss you!!! I should be there.

We thought about you quite a few times over the weekend.  Do you remember that dirt road that you, Hay, Stephanie and I took a few years ago, on our way back to Austin from Kerrville?  My group hit that road on the ride Saturday.  We seriously considered stopping and chasing a cow, but decided it would NOT be OK, since we're not Norwegian.  (:

(For everyone else's benefit:  ~3 yrs ago, I led Dag down a dirt road with loose cattle on it.  He stopped, got off the bike, and we have pictures of him running after cattle, hollering:  "It's OK, I'm Norwegian!!!")

Hollyday was able to snap this after Rocketman made a request for a picture on that ride.

Because Hollyday rode her own bike down we had to recruit a new picture snapper, Mrs Lucky1chris.  She did a great job.  The first few are hers.  The rest Hollyday was able to resume her normal duties.

Heading down to Fredericksburg from DFW area.

Hollyday did awesome all weekend.

Found some nice roads on the way down.

Went to dinner at Alamo Springs Cafe with the rest who showed up for the weekend festivities.

Got a visit from one of the locals.  What is he looking at?

Oh, he's looking at that..... Hollyday and I shared this and it was yummy.  Even had a little left for the admirer.

All the times I've been to Fredericksburg, I've never seen the bats.

The next morning three different groups left with three different destinations.  We went with Rocketman's group, and here is some pics from that one.

Found a couple dirt roads.  I dont think Lucky1chris is a fan.

We think this is why.

Stopped at the Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble Falls for lunch.  I think Hayhauler liked it.

More awesome roads and scenery.

Weather is startin to look iffy.  Luckily we only ended up getting a few sprinkles.

Here are some pics of the evenings activities.

"What just happened???"  That thing on his head has been dubbed a "Helmanet"  Helmet/Ornament

Stickers were handed out.  Some decided to show more support than others.

Decorations were adorned.

The conspirators and victims.

Those aren't dirt road.  Those are roads where the pavement was so new that it wasn't even put down yet!
I'm just glad we could get you patched up and back on the road, even if it wasn't holding 100%.

Stopped at the Blue Bonnet Cafe in Marble Falls for lunch.  I think Hayhauler liked it.

Isn't it a little early for the food coma to kick in?  He's supposed to finish eating first!

All in all, we did fairly well once we decided to cut and run from that lightning.

Stickers were handed out.  Some decided to show more support than others.

Those two are definitely... unique individuals.
Yes, I married one of them.  I guess I like unique.

That's the one!
Now imagine a 6 foot long rattlesnake in the middle of it, laying out in the sun.
