Not to steal any fire form the usual hill country ride around these parts... but for the last three years I have been participating in a small ride sponsored by a local guy around here we call Doc' Web.  (His name is Weber and he has a couple of PHD's.)  Doc is employed by the Salvation Army in Kerrville.

For the last two years Doc has been sponsoring a Hill Country ride.  Simply put... it's a hoot!

This year, do to some health complications on Doc's part, I and another friend have waded in to give Doc a bit of help.

So... if you are up to it, being late breaking news and all... we will be riding the hill country again this weekend.  Ground Zero will be the Motel 6 in Bourne... some will be arriving late Thursday but most will be straggling in on the PM on Friday.  Then we ride all day Saturday with dinner and a auction on Saturday evening. (TJ, this is directed specifically at YOU: Doc is a fan of good whiskey and swanky cigars and will be donating to the auction liberally.) For others... the Autozone of San Marcos will be donating tools and stuff for the auction as well.

Come... bring a chair... ride... hang out and bid in the Salvation Army Kerrville charity auction.

(does it get any better than that?)

Woo-hoo!

(BTW... we have no clue what we are doing or how to organize anything like this... it is just growing year after year and we are making things up as we go.)

Travis...

Come... have fun!
