David brought it by this evening.....
Thanks David!!!!!!
Am planning to sync the yellow in the morning, but wanted to go through the sync kit and verify the gauges are running true to each other.
What I found:  Vac leaks on guages 1, 4, 5, and 6......tightened the fittings and the packings on the valves....  Now all gauges are holding rock steady with no loss of vac in 30 min.!

I also found that compared to gauge #3:
Gauge #1 indicated -.5 inches HG
Gauge #4 indicated -.5 inches HG
Gauge #5 indicated +1 inches HG
Gauges 2 and 6 were on the money....
Marked the gauges that were off by the amount they are off....

So, if you are reading the vac on gauge #3, and it is 13 inches HG as an example:
#1 should read 12.5
#4 should read 12.5
#5 should read 14
 to be equal with #3
Edit:  they don't run that high....  just a 'for instance'

I could not get good readings until I cleared all the leaks in the system....If  you have sync'ed your carbs with the gauges lately.... you may want to redo them when you get the chance.

Hope this is clear as mud...

Is that the Houston Sync Kit or the DFW one?

Just came in the house a few minutes ago to cool down a bit Jimmy, you took the thoughts right out of my head. If you two want to improve on an already great improvement, I certainly would like to be the witness, man she purrrrrrrrrrrrrrs.

It's the Houston kit.

Ya know the old saying...
"If ya have one clock, you know what time it is.... if you have two clocks... you're never sure."

The sync kit is only as good as the gauges are accurate.  But you can verify what they are reading against each other and prove good readings.  Just takes a little time.
