I stopped by the local dealer to pick up some parts, and low and behold the had a Interstate on consignment. There is someone in front of me that has until Tuesday to make up their mind, If not i put a bid in on it. Its needs the carbs cleaned, it has sat for a bit, so I bid accordingly. We will see on Tuesday.  Smiley
Tinkerbell sat on the back, and she was all for it after that. It is a Green/Silver with 30,000 on the clock. She wanted to know if I could have it ready for Inzane in time.

Good luck to Ya'll. Rachel and I will hope to see you at INZANE on that one. She would not go back to the Tourer after being on the Interstate for a year....

Awesome Sharkey.  I know the misses will like the IS a lot more than your bike.  Cheesy

Mine sat for 2 years without being put up right.  Wouldn't fire because it wasn't getting any fuel.  I took the carbs off and cleaned them out a little but I didn't disassemble completely.  I should have...but I wanted to ride!!  Come fall, I had to because I was having trouble starting it when it was cold out.  So, I broke down and took the bike to an independent shop and the guy disassembled, put the carbs in a sonic cleaner and put it back together.  Worked like a charm after that.
